Provoke reap rewards of Unified Comms

In the seven years since start-up, Microsoft Gold Partner Provoke has grown from a group of five like-minded Wellington friends into one of New Zealand's IT success stories.

The company’s rapid growth led to the launch of a second New Zealand office in Auckland in August 2007 and increase in employee numbers to 65. The growth placed on pressure on the company's IT infrastructure, requiring investment to manage the company's increasing daily demands and future expansion.

With the collaboration of fellow Microsoft Gold Partner, Fujitsu, Provoke deployed a comprehensive Microsoft Unified Communications Solution (UCS). Phase one of Provoke's UC deployment began in June 2008. Immediately Provoke reaped the rewards. "Immediately we experienced cost reductions. It's exciting to see how quickly our business is benefiting. However, the most satisfying thing is the adoption among our people. We set out to create a solution with people's needs in mind and the face we've had close to 100 per cent pick is clear proof that we've achieved this," say Brendon Ford, CTO at Provoke.

With Microsoft Unified Communications, the staff can now easily and seamlessly collaborate across offices, greatly improving their productivity and reducing our operational costs.
